Training of Nigeria Customs Service Officers in Ibadan
From 5–8 February 2024, the Leadership Institute (Nigeria) successfully delivered a Leadership and Communication Skills Training for senior officers of the Nigeria Customs Service at BON Hotel, Ibadan. The four-day intensive programme focused on strengthening leadership capacity, enhancing communication competence, and improving decision-making in line with the evolving demands of modern customs administration. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and group discussions, participants engaged with practical tools for effective leadership, interpersonal communication, and team collaboration. Beyond the classroom, the training provided a valuable platform for peer learning, knowledge exchange, and professional networking—enabling officers to share experiences and explore innovative approaches to emerging operational challenges. We appreciate the active participation and commitment of all the officers, and we thank the Nigeria Customs Service for its continued partnership in capacity development.
